* This real log cabin combines the best of remote, rustic living with many conveniences the family will appreciate. Lights, stove, refrigerator and hot water heater are powered by propane. The water system is a spring fed solar charged battery system that provides hot and cold water to the shower and bathroom/kitchen sinks.
* Sleeping accommodations include a bedroom downstairs with a queen sized bed and a loft with a double bed and two twin beds.
* All furniture, furnishings, linens, towels, cooking utensils and dishes are provided, with extras such as a deer horn chandelier, aspen ceiling, deer mounts on the wall, aspen and slate coffee table and an old fashioned corner wood burning stove to take off the evening chill.
* The Elk Camp is a great place for hiking, mountain biking, relaxing, viewing wildlife, and even bring your horses for long rides on and off the property. We have a corral close to the cabin.
* Pets are welcome, as long as they are well-mannered adult pets that are supervised or crated when left alone. (please contact us regarding more specifics on our pet policy)
* Vehicles with high clearance are recommended and 4-wheel drive is beneficial. Cell phone service works at the high end of the property, near the entrance gate.
* Don't be surprised to see elk, deer and maybe even an occasional bear in this remote mountain paradise.
